Victim's Guide Cover

About The Vermont Victim Advocacy Project:

The Vermont Victim Advocacy Project is a Vermont non-profit corporation established in 2007 to provide Vermont's crime victims with legal representation and information about the criminal justice process.

The Vermont Victim Advocacy Project no longer provides legal guidance to crime victims; however, information and publications are still available.

While our Mission and Philosophy remain the same, legal guidance is no longer available.

Our Mission Statement:

To support crime victims by providing all crime victims with information about the criminal justice process in Vermont’s State and Federal District Courts and to provide individual victims with free legal advice and representation at criminal court proceedings.

Our Philosophy:

All crime victims are entitled to independent legal advice concerning Vermont’s criminal justice system and representation by counsel for depositions and court appearances.
